Mikheil Natroshvili -Labor Safety Manager, Bakhvi HPP Company
Mr. Natroshvili joined Bakhvi HPP company in 2022, taking on the role of overseeing the occupational safety department. His responsibilities encompass crafting and executing the occupational health and safety response plan throughout the construction phase, conducting inspections, compiling reports for project management and investors, and managing communications with government institutions. With 13 years of experience in this domain, he brings a wealth of expertise as a highly skilled health and safety specialist, boasting both theoretical understanding and practical know-how in health, safety, and environmental matters.
From 2014 to 2019, Mr. Natroshvili was employed in BP's international construction project. His responsibilities included two main areas. Firstly, he was tasked with identifying hazards and maintaining a safe working environment. Secondly, he ensured compliance with BP's health and safety standards, overseeing employee training and reporting, as well as conducting research and analysis. Besides, he has 3 years of experience managing labor safety departments in international highway and tunnel construction projects. His expertise encompasses the development and implementation of various Health and Safety (H&S) documentation and plans, as well as providing proper guidance in hazard detection and risk mitigation processes. Additionally, he has proven skills in managing, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies at construction sites.
Mr. Natroshvili is a graduate of Tbilisi State University. He is a professional historian holding a bachelor's degree. He furthered his education at the University of Georgia, earning a master's degree in archaeology in 2011. His academic journey includes completing various professional development courses and training sessions, enriching his expertise in the industry.
