Giorgi Gagnidze
Deputy Project Manager – Electromechanical, Bakhvi HPP Company
Mr. Gagnidze started working at the company Bakhvi HPP in 2021. His is responsible for selecting and communicating with contractors of the Bakhvi 1 and Bakhvi 2 hydropower plant projects in the electromechanical and hydromechanical fields; additionally, his duty is approval of drawings and technical solutions at the design phase and working on the construction perimeter.
In 2020-2021, Mr. Gagnidze worked as an electro-mechanical engineer on the Digomi HPP project, where he was responsible for both liaising with contractors and ensuring compliance of the hydro- and electro-mechanical aspects of the project. From 2013 to 2020, he held various positions at the company Energo Pro Georgia. From 2016 to 2020, he held the position of project manager at the company Energo Pro Georgia. During this tenure, he directly oversaw the rehabilitation projects of hydroelectric plants (Gumati 2, Zahesi, Ortachala HPP, and others).
Mr. Gagnidze is a graduate of the Technical University of Georgia, specializing in electrical engineering, and holds a master’s degree. Additionally, he has taken part in numerous scientific conferences and training programs.
