
Archil Dzneladze -Technical Director, Bakhvi HPP Company
Mr. Dzneladze started working at Bakhvi HPP Company in 2022. His role entails overseeing the management and ensuring the successful implementation of the technical aspects of both the Bakhvi 1 and Bakhvi 2 hydroelectric power plants, boasting a combined capacity of 48 MW. He has 37 years of work experience in both the private and public sectors. Since 2015, he has been the founder and technical director of Austrian Georgia Development. One of the most significant projects of the company is the construction and management of the Lakhami 1 and Lakhami 2 hydropower plants. He serves as the managing partner for companies like Energy Solutions LLC, Trading Solutions LLC, and Energy-Aragvi LLC. Since 2013, he has been the local project manager for the international company Posh & Partners, in addition to his role as director at Tesla LLC.
From 2010 to 2013, he was engaged in the state electricity system, focusing on a developmental project aimed at aligning Georgia's electricity infrastructure with the demands for increased supply. From 2010 to 2013, he also served as a technical expert for the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) development bank. Before this role, from 2007 to 2009, he represented Électricité de France (EDF) within UkrHydroEnergy, a Ukrainian company. His career commenced in 1987, and over the years, he held various high-level positions in both Georgian and international energy firms.
Mr. Dzneladze is a graduate of the Technical University of Georgia, holding a degree in electrical engineering. Moreover, he obtained a diploma in management from the same institution, graduating in the class of 1994.
