Andro Bregvadze - Chief Civil Engineer, Bakhvi HPP Company
Mr. Bregvadze is an experienced engineer specializing in road and hydrotechnical structures. Since 2012, his primary focus has been on the construction and rehabilitation of various energy projects, including hydropower plants of varying capacities, in which he has held prominent positions.
Currently, Mr. Bregvadze is working on Bakhvi 1 and Bakhvi 2 HPP projects, where he is the project's chief engineer responsible for design decisions, construction planning and scheduling, pipeline installation, earthworks, contractor relations, etc.
In 2021-2022, Mr. Bregvadze served as the construction manager for the Intsoba HPP project. His responsibilities included overseeing the rehabilitation of the main structures of the Intsoba HPP, and managing riverbed and bank protection works. Mr. Bregvadze has also been involved in numerous private projects, where his responsibilities included pipeline design, construction management, fiberglass and metal pipeline installation, turbine and generator installation, shield and valve installation, and drafting executive documentation. From 2012 to 2020, he contributed to the construction of the Aragvi and Aragvi 2 hydropower plants, as well as the Lakhami 1 and Lakhami 2 hydropower plants. During this time, he oversaw pipeline and earthworks, as well as reinforced concrete construction.
Mr. Bregvadze's extensive experience encompasses not only engineering but also relations with construction organizations and contractors. This experience helps Mr. Bregvadze to effectively manage various projects, leveraging his unique competencies.
Mr. Bregvadze is a graduate of the Technical University of Georgia, holding a master's degree in engineering. Additionally, he has successfully completed several qualification courses and training programs.
