Within the framework of Bakhvi HPP’s video storytelling series, we present a feature introducing the initiative on Equitably Shared Benefits. This assistance project forms an integral part of Bakhvi HPP’s social program and aims to ensure the distribution of benefits to persons with disabilities.
“When developing Bakhvi HPP’s social program, we were guided by the principle of fairness. We believed the program should reach everyone. During the needs assessment, we identified persons with disabilities living in the villages adjacent to the project area; accordingly, we incorporated a dedicated support component for them into the program,” says Davit Koberidze, Head of Environmental Protection and Social Projects at Bakhvi HPP.
