Renowned filmmaker Levan Koghuashvili convened a meeting at Mtispiri and Chkhakaura villages, engaging students from local schools. The session delved into the significance of education and careers within the film industry, community leadership, pathways to success, and the ongoing production of "Guria." It provided valuable insights into various opportunities and the effective utilization of youth experiences.
"This session was particularly enlightening. Collaborating with young talents is a significant source of inspiration for me. Engaging with them exposes me to diverse perspectives, enriching my understanding of their daily lives. Such interactions are invaluable," shared Mr. Koghuashvili.
Extensive discussions with students covered topics ranging from active community participation and responsibility to various opportunities within the film industry, the director's professional journey, motivations, and creative development. The session also explored Mr. Koghuashvili's passion for projects like "Guria."
"Today's insights are crucial for planning careers in the creative industries. Learning from renowned figures can profoundly enrich our lives. Hearing about practices from other countries has underscored the field's growing importance in our country, sparking my keen interest," remarked Saba Khatamadze, a 9th-grade student from Chkhakaura.
"Such exchanges are pivotal in inspiring deeper learning among students. Hearing about the rich experiences of accomplished individuals helps us better adapt to life's challenges," added Nana Shavadze, an 11th-grade student.
This meeting was supported by the Bakhvi HPP as part of an educational initiative at Chkhakaura and Mtispiri schools since 2022. In previous years, the program welcomed singer Giorgi Sukhitashvili in 2023 and esteemed writer Dato Turashvili in 2022.
