Bakhvi HPP is proud to announce the launch of its student aid program, part of the company's comprehensive environmental and social initiative. This program is designed to support the educational aspirations of young residents in the villages of Mitsipir and Chkhakaura, encouraging them to pursue studies in the fields of energy and environmental protection. Under this initiative, Bakhvi HPP will cover 80% of the tuition fees for eligible students. The first beneficiary of this program is Jaba Bolkvadze, a resident of Mtispiri village. Jaba graduated from Mtispiri Public School in 2022 and has commenced his studies at the Faculty of Energy at the Technical University of Georgia, majoring in electrical engineering. Jaba credits the training courses provided by Bakhvi HPP at his school for his decision to pursue a career in this field. These courses, which included professional orientation and education on hydropower and environmental protection, played a crucial role in shaping his career path
Jaba Bolkvadze, Student:
"When I was in my final year of school and considering my future profession, Bakhvi HPP began hosting training sessions in our village. These sessions piqued my interest in the field of energy. We visited Kintrisha HPP and learned about its operational principles, which deeply fascinated me and led me to choose electrical engineering. I believe this initiative will inspire many young people to explore similar career paths. I am committed to becoming a successful specialist in my field and contributing to the development of our village."

Nana Cheishvili, Principal of Mtispiri School
"The Bakhvi HPP program is an excellent incentive for young people to remain in their villages, gain specialized education, and secure employment in their fields of study.
This program will motivate students throughout their educational journey, knowing they have job prospects within their own communities. The student funding initiative is a significant step towards the development of our youth and the strengthening of our village. It addresses the challenge of youth migration to cities by providing a well-planned future in their hometowns."
Rezo Bolkvadze;
Parent of Jaba Bolkvadze:
"I have a very positive view of the training course organized by Bakhvi HPP. Initially, my son intended to attend the Naval Academy, but the training inspired him to switch to electrical engineering. This program offers hope and employment prospects, which is incredibly beneficial for families. Covering tuition fees is a significant burden alleviated, and this initiative is a tremendous encouragement for us. I am very satisfied with the support provided."
