The Bakhvi HPP project consists of three power plants: Bakhvi 1, Bakhvi 2A, and Bakhvi 2B. The company initiated the project in 2021, with construction work commencing in 2023. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.
Fifty percent of the workforce involved in the construction of the Bakhvi HPP project consists of local residents.
Throughout the planning and construction phases, the Bakhvi HPP management team collaborates closely with both highly qualified local experts and internationally recognized Western companies.
During the full operational cycle of Bakhvi 1 HPP, 18,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions will be avoided—equivalent to the emissions from consuming 8,000 tons of gasoline. Similarly, the full operational cycle of Bakhvi 2 HPP will prevent 55,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, which is equivalent to the emissions from consuming 24,000 tons of gasoline.
