The Bakhvi HPP project consists of three power plants: Bakhvi 1, Bakhvi 2A, and Bakhvi 2B. The project site is located in the Ozurgeti Municipality and includes the Mtispiri community.
Work on the Bakhvi HPP project began in 2021, with construction starting in 2023. The project is scheduled for completion in 2025. Fifty percent of the workforce involved in the construction consists of local residents.
