Bakhvi HPP is set to receive a construction permit for its ongoing project in 2023. However, after obtaining environmental impact permits (June 2022 and May 2023), the company procedurally had the opportunity to request permits allowing it to commence certain preliminary construction activities. Consequently, Bakhvi HPP approached the National Forestry Agency's Forest Use Department. As a result, the National Forestry Agency granted the company special use rights for the forest area within the project’s scope.
