The Bakhvi HPP project comprises three medium- and small-scale hydropower plants\u2014Bakhvi 1, Bakhvi 2A, and Bakhvi 2B. The project is being implemented in the Bakhvistskali River Valley, within the territory of the Ozurgeti Municipality. The construction period spans 2021\u20132026. Of the total workforce employed during construction, 37% were local residents, of whom 34% were women.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe construction of Bakhvi HPP is nearing completion. Today, we can confidently say that we have delivered on our promise and, together with the local community, built hydropower plants that meet high international standards. I am certain this project will be a source of pride for everyone who has contributed to its realization, directly or indirectly. This includes not only those employed on the construction site, but also members of the Bakhvi HPP Advisory Council\u2014individuals who generously devoted their most valuable resource, their time, to the project.
