\u201cThe Renewables, Environmental Protection and Civic Education\" training course, organized by Bakhvi HPP, continues in the public schools of Mtispiri in Ozurgeti Municipality and Chkhakaura in Chokhatauri Municipality. The main activity of the educational program in October was the establishment of eco clubs in the schools and the election of eco-ambassadors. The primary goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about renewable energy, environmental protection and the prudent use of natural resources, promote activism among young people, and foster creative and critical thinking.<\/p>\n
A total of seven eco-ambassadors were selected through a secret ballot\u2014five from Mtispiri Public School and two from Chkhakaura Public School. Additionally, all participants received a \"Field Guide to the Forests of Georgia\" as a gift, and branded hoodies were made for the eco-ambassadors to highlight their responsibilities and leadership roles.<\/p>\n
The main duties of the eco-ambassadors include informing their peers and fellow villagers, actively engaging in environmental care, identifying existing problems in this regard, and finding solutions. The selected eco-ambassadors will lead the eco club and participate in projects planned throughout the Guria region.<\/p>\n
Civil education teachers will supervise the club's activities. Alongside mastering the current educational material, they will assist students in implementing practical projects, such as maintaining\/beautifying the schoolyard, planning projects tailored to village needs, and executing other educational initiatives.<\/p>\n
