On June 17, 18, and 19, 2023, teachers from Mtispiri Public School and Kindergarten in Ozurgeti Municipality, as well as Chkhakaura Public School in Chokhatauri Municipality, attended a special training organized and planned by Bakhvi HPP in Borjomi. The teacher training module program was developed in collaboration with experts from the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, aiming to inform and support participants in the process of public school authorization and the implementation of the national curriculum. Through the training, participants received information on the requirements of the third-generation national curriculum and the second standard of authorization related to school development planning and management. As a result of the training course, teachers will be better able to manage processes at the school level, which are outlined by the authorization standards, including the development of the school's mission and related vision, the creation and implementation of mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating strategic goals, selecting educational resources according to long-term objectives, and more.<\/p>\n

The training was conducted by Mari Chikobava, Deputy Head of the Preschool and General Education Development Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and Niko Silagadze, an expert in national curriculum development at the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/p>\n

In rapidly developing times, such trainings, lectures, or seminars are very important for us, especially when information may arrive at a slower pace in the regions. This knowledge is necessary for us to contribute to the development of our schools, thereby participating in the success of future generations. It is noteworthy that Bakhvi HPP provides great support to the school and teachers, which is a huge stimulus for us,\" said Mariam Glonti, a teacher at Mtispiri Public School.<\/p>\n
